The job you keep putting off

Every owner runs out of hours before they reach this job.

Hiring someone to run your social media feels like a big step. Doing it yourself feels like a second job. So the page sits there, and every week it sits there it looks a little more abandoned.

You know it matters. You've seen the competitor who posts every few days and always seems to be busy. You've told yourself you'll set aside an hour on the weekend. The weekend arrives and you're tired, and the hour goes to something else.

Nobody tells you what that costs, because the cost is silent. It's the person who looked at your page, saw nothing new, and didn't ring. You never find out how many there were.

This page explains how we take the job off your plate, what it looks like each week, and what it costs, so you can decide with the numbers in front of you.

What organic social media management means

Unpaid reach, looked after by someone else, week after week.

Organic means unpaid. Your posts reach people because they're seen, shared and tagged, not because you've put money behind them. Management means someone else looks after it: writing the posts, scheduling them, publishing them and keeping an eye on how they go.

So organic social media management is Samantha and her team keeping your Facebook and Instagram active on your behalf, week after week, without an ad budget. The aim is steady growth in your page, so we do whatever your page needs to get there.

We keep to organic Facebook and Instagram. No ads, no websites, no online shops. That focus is deliberate. It lets us do the weekly work properly instead of spreading thin across things we don't specialise in.

What happens each week

Same weekly pattern, with replies to your comments looked after too.

Every week follows the same pattern, so you always know what's expected.

On Tuesday, Samantha sends you a WhatsApp message listing what to send for the week. You reply with photos from your phone and a line or two about what's going on. We write the posts, schedule them and publish them to your Facebook and Instagram.

Your side is photos and a few lines. If you can send a text, you can do it, and there's no software to learn or log in to. It's easy, but it isn't zero effort. More on that below.

Every 4 to 6 weeks, you also get an update on how your pages are performing, covering growth, reach and engagement. We'd rather you see the numbers than take our word for it.

What your first month looks like

The first month lays the base. After that, it's rhythm.

The first month is about building a base. Typically that means:

  • Creating and optimising your Facebook and Instagram pages.
  • Publishing typically 3 to 5 posts a week, plus Stories. Stories can link to your website.
  • Adding a Call Now button to your Facebook page, so people phone you instead of filling your inbox.
  • Working on your organic reach and how your pages look.

After that, the same rhythm carries on week to week.

What we ask of you

A little from you each week keeps the page current.

Send us fresh photos, videos and news. Once or twice a week is ideal, and even every couple of weeks is fine. We set up one WhatsApp group with the people who send things and approve. Posts come to you for approval before they go out, unless we've agreed otherwise with Samantha. We ask you to answer when we need your input.

That's easy. It isn't zero effort. We can only write about what's actually happening in your business, so the page is only as current as what you send.

What a month can look like

An example of the rhythm. Yours depends on what you send.

This is an illustration of the rhythm, not a promise of results, and the content depends entirely on what you send us.

A small trade business might send photos of a finished job in week one, a quick intro to the crew in week two, a thank-you to a customer who's happy to be named in week three, and a seasonal tip or a booking reminder in week four.

A café or venue might send the week's specials, a line-up, and a few photos from Saturday night.

Either way, the page gets a steady stream of real posts that look like they came from a business that's open and busy. That's the point. People trust a page that's alive.

Organic reach is a slow race

Steady beats flashy, and we'll say so before you sign up.

Anyone who promises overnight results from organic social media is selling you something. Organic reach builds through consistency and maintenance. You show up every week, and over time more people see your posts, remember your name and think of you when they need what you do.

Think of it as a virtual business card. A card in your back pocket gets you nothing. A card handed out every week gets you noticed. Your page does the handing out.

That's why we work with clients long term. A few weeks won't show you much. A few months of steady posting will show you a page that looks and feels very different.

Do it yourself, hire someone, or outsource it to us

There are four honest ways to run your social media. Here's how they compare.

Doing it yourself costs nothing in dollars and a lot in evenings. It's also the first thing to slip when work gets busy, which is exactly when your page matters least to you and most to your customers.

Hiring someone in-house means wages, and one person who can be away sick or on leave. It makes sense for bigger businesses.

An agency is another route, and it suits some businesses. It isn't what we do.

Our way is from $100 a week plus GST per platform, no contract, and two weeks' notice if you want to stop. You decide what we work from, because you decide what to send us, and posts come to you for approval before they go out, unless we've agreed otherwise with Samantha.

Send us the photo. We write the post, and your page stays alive.

Hire a social media manager: what handing it over looks like

Handing it over doesn't mean handing over the steering wheel.

If you've been thinking about hiring a social media manager, or you want to outsource your social media without losing control, here's how it works with us.

You tell Samantha about your business on a call. She explains what package fits and agrees it with you. After that, the week runs on WhatsApp. You send what you've got, we turn it into posts, and the page keeps moving. Samantha works remotely and manages your pages behind the scenes, so WhatsApp is the quickest way to reach us.

We work from your photos and your news, so the page shows your actual business. And if it isn't right for you, you give two weeks' notice and that's it.

What it costs

The price is right here, before you ring anyone.

Organic social media management starts from $100 a week plus GST per platform, with no contract. Facebook and Instagram together start at $200 a week plus GST. The two packages, Done with You and Done for You, are on the Packages page.

Who this suits, and who it doesn't

Better you hear it from us now than find out later.

It suits small business owners who want a steady, active presence on Facebook and Instagram and don't have the time to keep it going. It suits tradies, venues and musicians, markets and show societies and community groups. It suits anyone who'd rather send photos and news than learn a new tool. For on-the-day coverage, see event social media. The other options are on the services page.

It doesn't suit you if you want Facebook ads, a website or an online shop. We don't do those, and we'd rather tell you now. It also doesn't suit you if you can't send us anything at all. We work from what you give us, so we need photos and news to make posts about.

Samantha also teaches

Ask Samantha how to get more from your page.

Alongside the weekly posting, Samantha teaches clients how to get more customers from their page. She also gives guidance on keeping your Facebook and Instagram accounts secure. You're never left wondering what to do next.

Questions about organic social media management

What people ask before they hand it over.

Tell Samantha what you do

Book a call

Tell us what you do. Samantha will talk through what package fits, what she'd need from you each week and what it costs. You'll have the price before you decide anything, and you can leave with two weeks' notice if it isn't right. We work across Brisbane and north (see areas we cover).

P.S. Every week the page stays quiet is a week that people look you up and find nothing new. Book the call this week, and we can start as soon as you've signed up and sent your first photos.
